Officers and men of the Police department has contemplated to prepare a model co-operative for the residence of police personal and for that purpose 47.165 acres of land has been acquired under the Provision of Land Acquisition Act and the Collector, Patna has delivered possession of the acquired land in the village- Paharpur, PS –Gardanibagh ward no. 10 and given name of Aarakshi Karmcharigan Sahkari Grih Nirman Samiti-1, Patna for developing as planed colony and it is developed accordingly.
That the entire land is under the possession of the society which after development carved out plots for construction of building and divided into four sectors A,B,C,D allotting numbers to each in total 615 plots. There are five parks, wide roads and 15% area has been left as open space. All together seven gate has been installed and 'RETRO' written plate giving number has been affixed which gives beautification and illuminating light in the night period. This society is popularly known as police colony which is known for its dignity and culture. Whole colony is secured by 92 CCTV cameras in different places which helps in detection of crime and criminals. Recently all the roads of the society has been taken over by RCD of Bihar government which will give further development and prosperity of the colony.

3. Land Acquisition and Development
The society holds possession of 47.165 acres of land acquired by the government and has developed the area into a residential colony divided into sectors (A, B, C, D) comprising 615 plots, with parks, roads, and open areas.
4. Security and Infrastructure
The society is secured with 92 CCTV cameras and has installed seven gates with reflective signage. Roads have been taken over by RCD, Bihar Government, for further enhancement.
